DLF is committed to a programme of significant ongoing investment in production, processing and information technology. A total of 100,000 square feet purpose built warehousing for bulk storage at our Worcestershire head office with new automated machinery.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Seed is one of the most environmentally friendly crops to grow with low levels of pesticide inputs to the crop. Seed is produced under direct control of the DLF field production staff.Grass varieties most suitable for organic production are being identified. Various procedures are being evaluated relating to production: drying, storage, energy use, waste disposal and packaging. 

Company policy is to:

•  Reduce quantities of packaging used
• Increase the use of recycled material
• Increase the use of vegetable based printing inks

DLF is committed to the UK production of amenity grass seed and native wild flowers grown and processed under the strict supervision of DLF personnel. All amenity seed lots checked on intake and tested at regular intervals during storage to ensure the highest levels of purity and germination. P&G certificates available on request
